We made another attempt this year on a garden. So far so good. There was something nibbling on my lettuce. We sat outside trying to figure it out when suddenly a few sparrows decided to dive bomb our garden.

Huston we have a Bird infestation here!

That would explain all of all the dumb bird noises that we'd been having we didn't think anything of it because we'd always had a nest of dove every spring, but it sure was a LOT noisier this year & now we know why.

I was a bit leary planting this year so I doubled everything just in case 1 or 2 didn't grow it wouldn't matter, but guess what happened? I ended up planting the radishes to close together, so I picked quite a few of the bigger ones today. I tried one and didn't expect how hot it was going to be. I guess I'm used to the ones we'd buy at the grocery store, but these were so much better they were packing some heat!
Mmmmm... radishes so tasty!
