V's Blessing Day

Vanessa's blessing day was so incredible. Her Daddy was able to give her a name and a blessing. We weren't sure if he would be able to stand for very long, because he'd been very ill. Thank goodness for miracles! After church we had an open house for family and friends. Thank you to everyone that helped make that day so special, and to those who came to celebrate with us. Shaun hasn't been able to go back to work. He still is on sick leave. My maternity leave is up and I've returned back to work. The first day back was the hardest. Vanessa had her 2nd set of shots ((ouch)) and her first cold, but all in all she's doing well. She sure is a lot of fun. Shaun's done a great job of taking care of her while I've been at work.
