Monday- Simple Shrimp Scampi to make this fit mom style I use zoodles
Tuesday- Grilled Cheese & Tomato soup

Wednesday- White Chicken Enchiladas
Thursday- Turkey Burgers
Friday- YoYo (your on your own)
Saturday- Chicken Pot Pie Fit mom Style with this recipe
Sunday- French Toast to make it Fit mom I use this recipe

Challenge

Make Your Bed it's May

It's Amazing what a difference the simple task of making your bed changes the whole look & feel of you bedroom. When the bed is made the whole room just feels put together!

Quick note: Did you know that your bed is where you get the most important down time of all? it's where sleep and relaxation for the next day happens.

Have you ever tried to teach/tell your kid to do something & all they do is look at you like your a crazy person? Well that's us, lately! We kept telling V to make her bed before she went to school. You know what she wouldn't do it most days and the days she did it wasn't without a fight. Now that the end of the school year is coming I'm reflecting back on this and thinking you no what I totally don't blame her for not wanting to make her bed! Yep, you heard that right, neither one of us made our bed so it makes sense. Who was the role model? So I decided to take action by becoming consistent with Making my bed so I can step into authority & who knows maybe She'll notice! Kids learn best by watching. (and so do I)

Action Step: Tomorrow morning make you're bed & see the difference your day brings!

Tip: Add a little luxury to your space. It could be as simple as spraying a sent that smells nice on your sheets, in your room, or as complex as getting all new bedding! Just change something that makes you excited to make your bed.

Note: Think making your bed doesn't matter? Studies show those who make their bed every morning tend to be more productive. Small Win = improvement spillover

I was trying to throw myself back into meal planning, 'cause I know it's effective, but for whatever reason I tapped out! My 14 Day plan didn't Happen & I bet you're all wondering why? I became so overwhelmed by "the PLAN" that I didn't even start! Have you ever found yourself stuck in this situation? If so what did you do? So for this week here's what I'm going to do...Focus on a 7 day plan & so here it is: (click on image to view Larger)

What’s for dinner?

OK I must confess I’m guilty of this & we found ourselves eating out a lot lately (Little Caesars to be exact it $5 for crying out loud, but not so healthy).

Simple steps I’m taking to get back on track w/ meal planning:

1- Join a meal service that does it for you (I have one & use some of it) these are the ones I’ve tried: Kids Meal plans,Deals to Meals, 5dinners1hr & this is the one I still subscribe to: Grocery Shrink Plus, figure out what is right for your Family.

2- Make a favorites recipe book (try 1 new recipe a week, but don’t go overboard) Goal 15 recipes (to rotate thru each season to prevent boredom) I use a pocket Meal Planner from Pocket Full of Posies(not sure if they're in business any more)

3- Take the time to sit down & plan (shut down Facebook/pintrest/instagram/Tv distractions) use what’s on sale to your advantage (eat for the season).

4- Find someone to hold me accountable ie. family/you guys.

5- Make it enjoyable so I will continue with it.
